Upgrading & Converting - Environmental Solution
The fact that waste oil (Slop and Sludge) is a mixture of a wide variety of components, CDT offers specialty technologies and add-ons to make it possible to provide the complete system for each project nature and size. CDT Waste Oil Separation, Tank cleaning, Sludge and Slop Oil Treatment systems are designed to treat waste oils with a wide range of characteristics, from oils with a high solid content to oils with excess water in free and emulsion form. The core technology of the CDT system is based on application of several integrated technologies to solve complex hydrocarbon waste problems. In addition, our environmentally friendly biochemicals as 100% natural mix does rupture the bonds between hydrocarbons and other materials such as silt, sand or to the surface which eases its recovery. Additionally, it will render the other above mentioned sludge components soluble, facilitating removal, pumping, separation or any other desired function.
Waste oil and sludge can cause:
- Dangerous environmental hazards,
- Effect storage capabilities and capacities,
- low efficiency in initial processes,
- Equipment and processes failure
- Economical loss: Costly storage problems, downtime and maintenance.

Oil Lake Remediation System
The CDT Oil Lake Remediation System is an integrated environmental solution designed for the remediation of oil-contaminated lakes generated by petroleum production, whether they contain Naturally Occurring Radioactive Materials (NORM) or are non-radioactive.
The system provides a comprehensive treatment approach through fully integrated technologies capable of restoring contaminated sites while maximizing resource recovery and minimizing environmental impact. Depending on the contamination characteristics, the treatment process is divided into four main categories:
1. Hydrocarbon Recovery & Oil Treatment
Recovery of crude oil, slop oil, hydrocarbons, and oil sludge using advanced separation, upgrading, and refining technologies to convert recovered hydrocarbons into valuable commercial products.
2. Water Treatment
Treatment of produced water and contaminated wastewater through multi-stage separation, filtration, polishing, desalination (when required), and water reuse technologies to meet environmental discharge or recycling standards.
3. Soil Treatment
Treatment and rehabilitation of contaminated soils using mechanical separation, washing, stabilization, and advanced remediation technologies to restore land for safe environmental use.
4. Radiation & Air Management
For sites containing NORM, the system incorporates radiation detection, monitoring, containment, and treatment technologies to safely manage radioactive contamination. In non-radiological sites, the same platform provides air quality monitoring, toxic gas control, and environmental emissions management to ensure safe operating conditions.
The entire remediation process can be performed using fully remote-operated systems, integrating autonomous ground robots, aquatic platforms, aerial drones, and intelligent control systems to execute surveying, treatment, monitoring, and environmental reporting while minimizing personnel exposure to hazardous conditions.
